Safeguard Properties prides itself as a Leader in the Mortgage Field Services Industry and is currently seeking self-motivated Independent Contractors and Business Owners to join our Property Preservation Vendor Network.

Job Responsibilities Include:
• Performing prompt and quality property maintenance tasks including lock changes, debris removal, winterizations, minor roof repairs, and lawn maintenance.
• Updating and processing orders via mobile applications and web platform.
• Effectively communicating with Safeguard Vendor Account Managers.
Requirements for the position
• Must have Errors & Omissions and General Liability insurance with $1 million coverage limits.
• Ability to procure building permits when and where necessary.
• One or more crews of W2 employees capable of performing general handyman work in a professional manner. (i.e. drywall repairs, painting, minor electrical and plumbing work)
• Ability to purchase and supply materials required to complete requested work.
• Ability to partner with specialty contractors to complete work that is of a more difficult nature than handyman work. (i.e. sewer trenching, roofing, etc.) when required.
• Tech savvy enough to receive orders and communications via portals and apps.
• Ability to follow directions and to make decisions when only partial information is supplied.
• Must have the ability to perform final quality audits to ensure 100% completion of assigned work. There is no time allotted or punch out lists.
• Ability to respond quickly to communications and to accept and complete work without undue hesitation. A high sense of urgency is a must.
• Willingness to sign non-compete agreements so as not to undercut Safeguard or to attempt to replace Safeguard as the main performer.
