Our Founder
Jonathan Gilbert (or Mr. G, as his students call him), thrives on helping students gain more confidence and skills. Jonathan truly understands what students need to excel. As an athlete, former VP principal, Dept Chair and teacher, his experience goes well beyond the classroom. Over the years he has reached thousands of students.
Unlike most tutors, Mr. G stays connected to his students even after the session is over.
With degrees in both Math and Psychology Mr. G brings a unique blend of expertise to deliver what students really need to succeed.

Mr. G is an educator with over 20 years experience as a Math Department chair and VP at private schools in Los Angeles. His professional career began in Florida while he was still a student and continued in Los Angeles where he spent 18+ years teaching middle school and high school, running math departments and serving as Vice principal for private schools. In Sept 2017 he relocated with his family to Durham, NC where he has continued his career. He brings his immense experience to students in the Triangle Area. In a short time he has already reached hundreds of students in the classroom as well as dozens outside of the classroom.
