I have traveled the U.S. & abroad, born in N.Y., lived in Brazil from 1980-1982, from there, I then went to L.A., and I lived in S.D., Long Beach, Bay Area for 4+ years in each area. I landed in Humboldt in 1998. I found Humboldt to be home and became a Realtor in 2004 and I am also a Broker with Lucky Star Realty.
The reason I got into the real estate business was to make a difference, & make sure people buying/selling a home were treated fairly and well looked after. People need & want to be represented by someone who is honest, loyal, looking out for their best interest and provides Quality Customer service.
During my employment with the Men’s Wearhouse from 1994-2010, I learned “what True Quality Customer Service is…” I truly take the time to listen, discover the wants/ needs of someone getting into or already in the market. I also keep in mind and share the future benefits of a transaction with my customers. Each transaction is a Journey and a story of someone’s biggest financial decision that they will be making in their life time.
Understanding the wants & needs of a customer when buying/selling a home and how to optimize and recommend the best options, is 2nd nature to me.
After I received my license, I began practicing real estate in Humboldt in 2004. I spent the first 2 years understanding real estate law. I was told by my Broker “Leonard you know the law & now go sell a home”. I spent the proceeding years taking time with Home inspectors, contractors learning how the local aged homes compared to the new construction and how they were built & the +/-‘s.
The in’s & outs of how to negotiate & renegotiate a price from an originally accepted price helps my customers save money and have a quality transaction. This benefits buyers and sellers who are ready to enter the market. There are many ways to negotiate an original offer price/terms that can be renegotiated during escrow.
Real estate is like a hobby to me, like any hobby that you enjoy you become meticulous and precise knowing all the angle of how to achieve the best results.
My customers are always made aware of what options and bridges that will be in the path and new options during the real estate journey. Customer Service goes on before, during and after the “Journey”… 😊
