The preliminary phase of focus for McMullen Industries Development and Rehab (Mc Ind) structured the company’s foundation around our family's Construction Legacy that dates back over 57 years. This Construction Legacy was started by Joseph McMullen, grandfather to our President, Denise McMullen, in 1957, by which he indoctrinated and self-educated 3 generations with the resources, relationships, raw-strategic knowledge and wisdom of building in the areas of Master Carpentry, Masonry, along with Ironwork, while cultivating the Builders Art of Electrical, Roofing and Plumbing. In later years, those Trade Skills formulated McInd 2013 business structure in Property Rehab, coupled with meeting the onset of demands for Property Preservation, REO and now Development Projects in the Private Sector, to build initially, but not limited to Housing Facilities (typically 38 units, but not limited to) for purposes of Assistive Living, Senior Residences, Mix-Use and other Residential Projects in the South Suburbs, as well as other suburban areas in Illinois. We utilized the Crawford Countryside Unincorporated town of Matteson, Illinois and the surrounding South Suburban areas as our “Pilot” for Acquisition(s), Rehab, Property Preservation and REO start-up; Acquisitions have and will range from single family houses, mix-use buildings, condominiums and multi-unit buildings. These efforts collectively, consolidated our families compiled track history, in-house funding and capacity under one controlled entity.
